Burger Chains
< class="pgc-img">快餐连锁店的英文是：
- Fast food chains
很多快餐连锁店品牌都在 globalize（全球化）的过程中不断地 localize（本土化）。
例如金拱门，虽然经典的巨无霸汉堡叫做 Big Mac，但品牌名里是Mc，没有/?/的发音，注意听主播的发音哦：
- McDonald's : 麦当劳
口语中也会叫它 Mickey D's，不要忘记最后的 s 。
< class="pgc-img">90%的情况下，外国人会把汉堡叫做“burger”,而不是它的全称hamburger：
- Burger King: /?b?rg?r/ 汉堡王
- Do you want to go to Burger King to get a burger? 你想去汉堡王吃个汉堡吗？
类似的，薯条是 French fries，口语中更多简称为 fries 。
< class="pgc-img">近年来，这家在美国西部非常火的快餐店在中国也越来越多：
- Carl's Junior: 卡乐星
注意 Carl 的发音 /kɑrl/ 。
< class="pgc-img">中国人习惯把肯德基叫做KFC，现在很多外国人也这样称呼，但更早的时候肯德基一直以全称推广：
- Kentucky Fried Chicken：/k?n?t?ki/ 肯塔基州炸鸡
- Acronym: 首字母缩写
肯德基的商标上是它的创始人：
- Colonel Sanders: 山德士上校

Other fast food chains
< class="pgc-img">必胜客在北美的实体店并不多：
- Pizza Hut: 必胜客
注意pizza的发音 /?pi?t.s?/，不要读成意大利的建筑名：
- Leaning Tower of Pisa: /?pi?sa/ 比萨斜塔
和 Pizza Hut 同属一家公司的墨西哥菜连锁店：
- Taco Bell: /?tɑko?/ 塔可钟
Domino 可以指多米诺骨牌，另外也是一家美国著名披萨连锁店的名字：
- Domino's: 达美乐
它以披萨外送为主：
- Let's get delivery. 我们今天点外卖吧。
不管在哪个国家，味道都一模一样的三明治连锁店：
- Subway: /?s?b?we? / 赛百味
Subway 除了有地铁的意思之外，其实还是一种三明治的名称：
- Submarine sandwich: 潜艇三明治
也可以简称为sub：
- Let's get a sub. 我们吃个潜艇三明治吧。
加拿大人最爱的连锁店：
- Tims: 全称Tim Hortons
主要售卖 coffee（咖啡）、donuts（甜甜圈）、sandwiches（三明治）、soup（汤）等。

注意在说的时候不能少了末尾的 s 。

- Costa: 咖世家
因为 Costa Rica （哥斯达黎加）的发音，Adam 把它读作/?ko?.st? / 。
< class="pgc-img">韩国的烘焙连锁店：
- Paris Baguette: 巴黎贝甜
Baguette就是法国长棍面包，它的法语发音 /ba.ɡ?t/ 。
< class="pgc-img">全球冰淇淋快餐连锁店：
- Dairy Queen: /?deri kwi?n/ 冰雪皇后
在中国大家更喜欢称它为DQ，但在国外人们通常会使用全称。

Order food

单点某个食物可以用“Just the…”
- Just the sandwich. 单点三明治。
套餐是“combo”，通常服务员会问：
- Do you want to make it combo？你想要它的套餐吗？
除了小中大之外，很多快餐店还有超大份的选项：
- Supersize: adj.超大份的 v.提供超大份的
- Can you supersize it for me? 你能给我超大份的吗？
堂吃还是带走：
- Is that for here or to go？
- For here: 堂吃
